Sanlin Affordable Housing
The Sanlin affordable housing project is part of a massive government housing program. Our goal is to test applications for wood that can be replicated in other public housing developments. FII/CW will provide design support, project management, quality assurance, training and wood building materials. The three public buildings incorporating wood will be an Administrative Centre, Cultural Activities Centre and Community Services Centre.
Minister Bell and Canadian industry executives visited the project site in October of 2010. In February of 2011, the construction drawing package for Administration Centre building was completed and the foundation piling of Administrative Centre and Community Services Centre and Service Centre infill wall work began
